Yashashree L. Bethala, M.D.
Dr. Yashashree Bethala is a distinguished physician specializing in Internal Medicine.
She obtained her medical degree from Osmania Medical College in India. She moved to the United States in 1989 and did her Internship and Residency at the University of Pennsylvania Presbyterian Medical Center where she received the Outstanding Resident of the Year Award. Dr. Bethala further honed her skills by serving as the Chief Medical Resident at Mercy Catholic Medical Center showcasing her leadership and clinical acumen. With this strong foundation, she ventured into the professional realm of medicine by working in the City of Philadelphia’s Clinics. Dr. Bethala is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Bethala moved to Gulfport, MS in 2000 and became an integral part of Biloxi Internal Medicine Clinic.
Dr. Bethala served as Chief of Medicine for the Medical Executive Committee at Merit Health Biloxi in the past and is presently serving as Vice-Chief of Medicine.
Dr. Bethala’s compassion and dedication to her patients and her years of experience have made her a respected figure in the medical community on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
